Jail Administrator Sam Davee

Sammy Davee Jail Administrator  

Began his career in 1983 as a Jailer at Reeves County Jail in Pecos Tx. In 1988 Sam started with the Federal Bureau of Prisons where he worked at FCI Big Spring, FCI Three Rivers, FCI Milan, FMC Fort Worth, FPC Bryan, FCC Beaumont, and FCI Bastrop. He's held the positions of Officer GS-9 Lieutenant, GS-11 Lieutenant, and Captain at these institutions. Sam Retired from the Federal Bureau of Prisons in 2012. In 2012 He was hired as the Jail Administrator for Burleson County Sheriff's Department. In 2018 he began work with GEO Private prison system at Reeves County Detention Center, Big Spring Correctional Center, and Karnes County Detention Center. In 2022 Sam returned to Burleson County Sheriff's Department as the Jail Administrator. Sam Davee brings with him 42 yrs of correctional experience

Lieutenant Al Horak

Lt. Horak started with the Burleson County Sheriff's Office in January 2011 in the Position of Jailer, In January 2014 he obtained his Texas Peace Officer License. In his Career with the Burleson County Sheriff's Office he has served in the Positions of Jailer, Jail Sergeant, Patrol Deputy, Jail Administrator, School Resource Officer and currently Jail Lieutenant. He holds an Advanced Jailer and Peace officer Certificate.
